No matter what you’re having for your holiday meals, dining etiquette is important. Image isn’t just about the clothes you wear. It’s about all the pieces that make up who you are. Some tidbits about dining etiquette to help you through the holidays and beyond:

  1. Know how to set the table so you know what’s your stuff and what isn’t!
  2. Place your napkin on your lap as soon as you sit down.
  3. Wait for others before you begin to eat (if it’s a large group, you can start when at least 3 people at your table have their food).
  4. Keep your elbows off the table (really)!
  5. Place utensils on your plate when not in use so you aren’t waiving them around.
  6. Take small bites of food so you can carry on a conversation without having food in your mouth.
  7. Never, never, never have chewing gum anywhere near your plate (dispose of it before you even approach the table).
  8. Enjoy!

May you always look great!
